Japanese Art Of Reiki
Reiki techniques originated in Japan in an intensely spiritual period of that country’s history. This fully-illustrated book traces the system’s evolution from a spiritual self-development system to a direct hands-on practice. The journey moves from Japan to the USA out to the world and back to Japan. Focussing on the basic elements in their historical context this guide contains beautifully grounded information that captures a unique sense of the system’s traditional Japanese roots. The clarity and accessibility of the teachings in the book redefine and strengthen the concept of Reiki as it is practised today.Reiki techniques originated in Japan in an intensely spiritual period of that country’s history. March 8th, 2011 on 8:01 am
@Hikeroose
no because actually the piano part is the important part of this song….it resemble your feeling,you think what you wanna do with your life,end it or continue it..and in the end (last part of song) you realize that you wanna live on
March 8th, 2011 on 8:01 am
I guess the piano part was initially put into this song for the drummer to rest. Amazing shit this
March 8th, 2011 on 8:32 am
@Louysa1 same question~
March 8th, 2011 on 9:29 am
who`s the man who sings at the piano before Yoshiki appears?
Amazing video , I just love it <3
March 8th, 2011 on 9:40 am
This guy does what music supossed to do… transmit emotions..
I mean, it’s great to see a guy or girl playing technically awesome… but in the end, what remains is what the music left you inside, that is what you will remember..
March 8th, 2011 on 10:13 am
who is the guy at 1:20 on the right side? or just video effect?
March 8th, 2011 on 11:12 am
who’s the guy under the piano at 5:50? xD
March 8th, 2011 on 12:04 pm
@nofarvam i wish i were that piano then..
Ha!
March 8th, 2011 on 12:23 pm
I cry 4 u YOSHIKI!!!
March 8th, 2011 on 12:33 pm
as much i love X Japan, i just can’t stand the absurd amount of overdubs and all these playback things on their live performances. I guess, live performance were made to capture all the feelings and the emotions you have on the concerts. It’s like putting a mask on the songs because you don’t want to see how it really sounded.
March 8th, 2011 on 1:13 pm
Everyone should hear this song in full at least once in their life.
March 8th, 2011 on 1:34 pm
Chikuso….I have a Japanese student staying with me for the year and this is one of his favorite bands…I wish I knew they were touring…I just missed them playing nearby….figures…damn it! This part of the song, though repetitive is very emotive…love this band…he got me into them quick and I don’t even like “metal” music…
March 8th, 2011 on 2:33 pm
X Japan rules !
March 8th, 2011 on 3:16 pm
@PimpMasterZ I’m completely serious, and they’ll probably play it there. I hope it’s a good show tomorrow.
March 8th, 2011 on 4:16 pm
@Grmo19 dude, they seriously played ART OF LIFE live? I find it hard to believe they played that states side. I’m seeing them in NYC sunday, and if they seriously play art of life, i’ll cream my jeans and probably die
March 8th, 2011 on 5:14 pm
I saw X Japan live on thursday, and I actually was fighting off tears when they started to play this. I can’t explain why…seeing them play live is just so powerful. I think this is when music really becomes art.
March 8th, 2011 on 6:12 pm
@NeoNebula0Katana Hmmm, you know, I think it’s an image after all, maybe it’s edited an only appears in the video, but not in the concert that day, cause by the way he moves, and also by the hair it reminds me of Yoshiki but in his 1991 look, hmm… I don’t know, maybe I should just stop smoking that thing LOL.
March 8th, 2011 on 6:58 pm
@DaenThunderKnight I see . . . thanks! And I’m sorry people trolled you like that; it’s not nice to be trolled, I know. Maybe we’ll find out who it was one day.
March 8th, 2011 on 7:45 pm
@NeoNebula0Katana I asked the same a long time ago, but everybody started trolling me, because they said it’s: “only an image”, but of course is not a fucking image, I mean, two years ago they used a hologram of hide and it didn’t look with the definition this “image” has XD, in other words: no one knows XD
March 8th, 2011 on 7:55 pm
@jimfear666 Cause this part represents somehow a sort of interpretation of a confused state in his mind ( fucking grammar XD ) and those hits kinda represent the chaos between the tranquility, yeah, I know, sort of weird, but that is what makes this part so freaking epic!
March 8th, 2011 on 8:34 pm
totally epic!
March 8th, 2011 on 9:16 pm
I’ve listened to this live recording so many times that the atonal notes sound so incredibly right. I can’t imagine it any other way. Every piece of it..

March 9th, 2011 on 3:08 am
this song has to be on guitar hero or rock band, i don’t care if its divided into 4-5 parts, but it has to be in either guitar hero or rock band, it could be the best song on both the games
March 9th, 2011 on 3:27 am

How can’t someone like this piece of art? Maybe some nerd would say about some Bieber’s piece of s**t.
We gotta say them THIS is REAL MUSIC. Art of Life at Tokyo Dome is the best live performance I’ve ever seen.
March 9th, 2011 on 7:55 am
@Alai912
there are total 16-17 song in this live…art of life is number 10..so after this song they play another song again
March 9th, 2011 on 8:47 am
Outstanding.

March 9th, 2011 on 10:20 am
@PimpMasterZ
Anyone who knows music, loves music, feels music with all his heart and soul, is a fan of this. Music never looks so beautiful other than this. The melody is god. Yoshiki is the only musician I know that makes avant-garde an AWESOME thing. The feelings that’s hidden behind this songs and Yoshiki, the sadness, depress, hate, love and betrayed, the impression that makes this The Art of Life!!
March 9th, 2011 on 10:43 am
